Please join us for our next conference. As a special gift to our fathers and our keynote speaker, we are pleased to bring Dr. Ray Guarendi. Dr. Ray is the father of 10, a noted Catholic psychologist, gifted speaker and writer.
We are pleased to bring Laura Berquist, founder of Mother of Divine Grace to our conference this year. A Catholic distance education program dedicated to helping homeschoolers Design Their Own Classical Curriculum. Mrs. Berquist will spend Friday facilitating a workshop open to all homeschoolers. It is not just for MODG families, or even just for those using the MODG curriculum. It is a workshop for any homeschooler wanting to hear about, and reflect on, techniques that will improve her homeschool, whatever curriculum the family may be using. She will go over what is essential at the different grade levels, what may be underlying various kinds of difficulties one encounters with one’s students, and techniques for improving the parent/child/student relationship. An extra fee is charged to attend this workshop.
In addition, we are honored to feature Dr. Catherine Moran, author of The Doorway to Heaven who will offer us her perspective and experience after 18 years of homeschooling.
Next on the line up is a local treasure, Fr. Augustine Tran. He is a gifted speaker - motivating and inspirational.
